Since they broke through into the Australian music scene more than a decade ago, Tash Sultana has been nothing less than a musical force.
The gender-fluid multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter, engineer and entrepreneur has carved out every step in their musical journey over the last 15 years, which has taken them from performing open night mics all over the country, busking the streets of Melbourne to releasing platinum records, accumulating billions of streams, nominations across the globe, to winning awards and selling hundreds of thousands of concert tickets worldwide.
Tash creates, composes, writes, engineers and produces everything that is heard live, and on record. Tash is the band. Their now-famous busking sessions on Melbourne’s Bourke Street catapulted them into the eyes and ears of music fans everywhere, and a viral video of their early song ‘Jungle’ brought them international attention. Since then, it’s been nothing but a meteoric rise.
Their debut album Flow State landed in 2018 and quickly became Gold certified, and spawned Platinum and Gold records with singles ‘Mystik’ and ‘Murder to the Mind’.
In 2019 alone, Tash sold more than 500,000 concert tickets globally, and over the years they’ve notched up major international appearances at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Montreal Jazz Festival.
Acclaimed second record Terra Firma landed in 2021, and garnered widespread praise for Tash’s raw and reflective songwriting and ambitious musical arrangements. Like everything before it, the entirety of the record was carved by Tash – every instrument that was played, every bit of musical arrangement, every bit of production. But for the first time, Terra Firma saw Tash bring in a couple of close friends and collaborations to co-write – including Matt Corby, Dann Hume, Jerome Farah, and Josh Cashman.
Their extensive catalog has nearly broken the internet, having raked in billions of streams and counting.
2023 sees Tash release the first music from a new era of Tash Sultana.

The self-taught musician plays flute, sax, guitar, piano, bass, and voice, prolifically writing and producing songs in her bedroom studio. Transcending boundaries, Little Green invites us into an ever-evolving tapestry of music, grounded in messages of love and healing.

Garrett Kato’s internal conversation manifests in his music. His diligent tinkering as a producer, unfiltered candor as a songwriter, and artful arrangements as a creator commune in one open dialogue soundtracked by a delicate synthesis of folk, indie, and alternative. After generating over 215 million streams and captivating audiences worldwide, the Canada-born and Australia-based platinum-certified artist and producer continues to go from strength to strength.
Garrett Kato writes, records, produces, and mixes his music from his home studio near Byron Bay, Australia. His striking new single ‘Are You Ok?’, a soul-stirring acoustic tapestry that weaves through the emotional nuances of introspection and self-discovery. Garrett Kato’s signature acoustic brilliance takes centerstage, creating a raw and authentic sonic experience.
‘Are You Ok?’ navigates the delicate balance between vulnerability and empowerment, blending folk, indie and pop elements to create a sound that resonates with the depth of the human experience.
Wanderlust brought Garrett from Canada to Byron Bay where he eventually married, started a family, and made a home. Simultaneously, his artistry evolved through careful commitment to the craft. Following 2018’s That Low and Lonesome Sound, his music resonated worldwide via Hemispheres in 2020. “Take It Slowly” surpassed 20 million Spotify streams, while “Breathe It In” [with JULIA STONE] generated over 16.4 million Spotify streams. Highlighted by “With You,” his 2022 offering, Small Town Rituals, granted Kato over 1 million Shazam’s maintaining his momentum. Simultaneously, Garrett’s production and songwriting catalog expanded.
He collaborated with ZIGGY ALBERTS on the ‘Four Feet in the Forest EP’ (Platinum in Australia) and ‘Laps Around the Sun’ (Gold in Australia). Australian tastemaker station triple j dubbed GARRETT as the “producer and musician behind some of the most prominent sounds coming out of Byron Bay’s booming buskers scene” and rightly so; Garrett has worked with a string of iconic Aussie artists including and helmed projects for BUDJERAH, JEM CASSAR-DALEY, PETE MURRAY, STEPH STRINGS, BUSBY MAROU, PIERCE BROTHERS, RILEY PEARCE, JACK BOTTS, and DAMI IM, to name a few.
After tuning into his acoustic inclinations on Small Town Rituals, he consciously pushed himself sonically and vocally on his recent body of work, Nighthawks EP.
“I was definitely exploring,” he admits. “It opened more possibilities, and the production is aesthetically bigger. I wanted to try something more adventurous and embrace different vibes. I stepped out of the folk singer-songwriter genre and into pop, lo-fi, and old school sounds. Rather than approaching this as a ‘collection’, I’d finish one song and move onto the next from scratch. Each track grabs a snippet of a moment in time.”
Garrett’s collaboration with Swedish singer-songwriter ELINA on the track ‘Never Alone’ has been a great success, with over 7 million streams, a continuous 700,000 streams a month, and seeing his global audience growing rapidly.
Last year GARRETT supported HOLLOW COVES on their Australia and New Zealand Tour and will head overseas with them in March/April 2024 to support them on their European and the U.K. Tour, across 19 shows.

After a chance meeting at a backyard party and bonding over their diverse tastes in music it took some convincing to get all members of South Summit to join the band. Now one of Perth’s most talked about live bands, the 5 guys can’t imagine doing anything else.
Hidden away from the East Coast music scene – South Summit have created a truly unique sound, not influenced by what the rest of the country is doing.
Zaya [lead vocals], Josh [bass], Fynn [lead guitar], Nemo [backing vocal, rhythm guitar], and Nathan [drums] all come from culturally different backgrounds, have hugely different tastes in music but they all share a love of connecting with people through songs. They do it with family over backyard BBQs, festival stages and even a series of shows throughout WA prisons. South Summit love playing music together, they don’t follow the traditional music industry path and the buzz their live shows are receiving prove that fans are loving them too.
With a their new single, Givin’ It Up just around the corner and a new National Tour to be announced, 2024 will be the year of South Summit.
Not bad for 5 mates from Perth.

Battlesnake is an Australian 7-piece metal band that have emerged from the depths of the underworld. With a powerful sound that can only be described as the genetically engineered cyborg super child of Queen, King Gizzard and Judas Priest, the band has quickly gained a reputation for their high-impact live performances and epic, theatrical songwriting. Mortals tremble, all hail Battlesnake!
Battlesnake released their debut EP in 2020. A powerful 6 track release titled ‘Myths and Legends from Gorbag’s Domain’. Their first full length, self-titled album followed in 2023. This album and their high impact live show has garnered the interest of the Australian music industry. Recently the band supported KISS on their End of The World Tour, The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction on the The World Is a Vampire tour.
Battlesnake are set to march forward with their new single, Motorsteeple, and are laying the foundations for their biggest year yet in 2024!
